IT’S TIME TO DO SOME
The Wiphala is a square emblem commonly used as a flag to represent some native peoples of the Andes that include today's Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, northwestern Argentina and southern Colombia.
WIPHALA

A very traditional and typical scene in rural Ecuador. Beans are sown by sinchi warmikuna (“strong women”) and taita ("father") plows a furrow the way it has been done for eternity.
Work opportunities are very sporadic, and income is unreliable, so we are happy to offer work to people from the comuna or nearby communas. Everyone who comes to work at the finca is greeted warmly in Kichwa and they work beneath the Wiphala flag of indigenous unity. They are fed well during the workday.
